[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi all

Need some support please
Following setup - Disney Plus installed on Skyworth Leap 1 connected to Hisense TV U7H
The video is playing but you can only hear the sound and the screen is black

All other apps - netflix/amazon prime/showmax/DSTV etc. work fine with this setup
I even connected the same TV box to other Full HD TVs and everything works fine including disney plus

I am suspecting its and SDR/HDR issue after googling but cannot find an option to change the setting to test

Any ideas or similar experiences?

TIA

Would the 55A8G be worth it for someone who doesn’t game on their tv? I prefer playing on my 144hz PC monitor.

Tested my series x on this tv and noticed when you change from 60hz to 120hz there's a huge degrade in picture quality. Color, brightness, blacks. Best way I could put it would be a washed out picture. It doesn't seem as prominent in these photos but it's almost a night and day difference.

Is that the TV or the Xbox lowering visual quality in order to push 120 frames?

Sure the C1 isn't doing something?
As it seems some people moaning about the 120hz

It's definitely not the xbox, I usually run 120hz on my c1 and have no issue.

I might be talking absolute kak, but I have some vague memory - not sure the brand/tv/monitor - of not being able to do HDR & 120hz at the same time, it's either/or.

The CX, C1, C2, CS, can 100% do both though

Those images definitely look like HDR vs SDR

Can do HDR and 120hz but it can't do Dolby Vision and 120hz

I see from your pics the colours are definitely washed out... I can only comment on my PS5 at 120hz and its flawless...

Guess I’ll need to unbox my PS5 sooner than later to test and feed back…
Unfortunately it's the same with a ps5
I tested it on a different game then I did on my Xbox and didn't download the high quality textures but never the less u can still see a difference.
