[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

It's disturbing how much I've read in this thread and still can't decide lol. Paying this much for a TV really gives you a headache. On paper the A8H really looks good. Just concerned about the fact that Hisense usually doesn't specialise in OLEDs. I mean it's comforting to know that they buy their panels from LG. Is there any clear issues with this TV? Excluding an occasional once every 6 months issue
Black crush in some HDR 10+ content, but other then that once you watch something like Pacific Rim, hell even any Dolby Vision stuff you'll be like damn, this is what inky black can do

So the A8H is a solid option. As long as there's no one regretting their purchase. And if it's actually just a step behind LG then it most likely will be on par if not better than the Samsung QN90A. Samsung is currently R24999 and A8H is R20000. Same size

Okay honestly. I appreciate good motion over most stuff. I just love the detail of 120fps. My lounge is very adjustable so making it low lighting is very doable. My first choice would have been the LG CS6LA but the 65" is really expensive. I wouid love to get an OLED but I would sacrifice inky blacks if it meant me avoiding frame issues. I have a ps5 as well. So my options are now LG CS6LA 55", Hisense A8H 65" and Samsung QN90A 65". Help! :( Lol.
I would wait a couple months for the LG C3 to arrive and get that in 55". They are a lot brighter than CS/C2. Hisense really is no competition. They have motion issues, don't really get updated too much. Sometimes you get a poor panel, sometimes not. It's a lottery. For this big a investment the stuff I mentioned here is not negotiable. They are cheaper for a reason.

And you've had the A8H to compare against the LG you own?

I find my A8H to be incredibly bright in a large very well lit room. It exceeded my expectations.

P.S. I also have LG CX and C1.

I love the QN90B, but it loses its sheen when the sun goes down. Turning the lights on doesn’t really restore its full glory.

The A variant supposedly has issues with gaming in HDR similar to Hisense, according to a YouTube vide I saw.

The fun never stops lol. Thank you

@capd @Lupus considering the fact that you guys own the Hisense and also the CX/C1. Room lighting aside, would you take a 65" A8H(R19500) or 55" LG CS(R18999). For overall usage.

Have you read the reviews?

I've read every last one on 55" and 65" lol. I'm worried mainly because I haven't seen the Hisense A8H in person.

Is it? I mean you don't actually own one, reviews do also mention it having motion issues, crushed blacks and other oled issues. Is paying 55% more for maybe 500% better picture worth it?
For the price of the A8H it's 95% there to the LG but at half the price, maybe one day when you do have the mythical LG you can comment.
