u8k is not OLED vs MiniLED (c845). Also what is your budget? Waiting for Black Friday? Don't think anyone on this forum has experience with the TLC. ViDAA on Hisense is OK but very limited app store (but OK if you just want to Game probably).I'm thinking of buying the u8k anything I should look out for. Does anyone have any experience with the u8k.
My use case is pc gaming. I'm running a 3080ti so at least I'm kind of sorted on the gpu side of things.
It's between the u8k, u7k and TCL c745, c845
Can go max 55" but the best will be 48" and max of ±R15K but if you can go under let's about R13K will be even better.u8k is not OLED vs MiniLED (c845). Also what is your budget? 65 or 55 inch will also determine what is available.
Don't think he'd want a OLED for PC work, though I'm not sure the 3080ti hdmi port allows 144hz?u8k is not OLED vs MiniLED (c845). Also what is your budget? Waiting for Black Friday? Not sure if the U8K will come in 55" in SOUTH AFRICA :/ Althought it is on their website: https://hisense.co.za/products/hisense-55u8k-mini-led-uled-4k-tv/Also been eyeing the U8K 55”.. let us know if you end up buying it
I gave them a call and they said the c745 will be available end of OctoberTCL are as scares are Hen's teeth (good ones)... They keep advertising but nobody has stock... Maybe keeping for #BlackFriday?
I have U7H - 55" and 120Hz (don't play games, but TV is nice, bright and I am happy).. Yeah finding the right screen is always a matter of a) Preference, b) Availability and c) Price.. Good luck!
Will do so. I've been looking at monitors and tv's and the input lag is almost the same these days unless you spend a **** load of money on a monitor yes then it's good but with a tv you get more for your money. Also been eyeing the U8K 55”.. let us know if you end up buying it
2024?I gave them a call and they said the c745 will be available end of October
the reason why text look bad is because they use a bgr layout and not rgb subpixel layoutTVs totally suck as monitors.
No auto off/on, horrible pixel density, and even with 4:4:4 fonts look bad, and this was on a 43” 4K tv.
Lovely to game on though.
More than likely noAnybody know if our U7K is the same panel as the US one? Cant find any info..

Looks like a good contender for me for a black friday special.
Ugh, I also have that suspicion. Don't want to end up with a kak panel. I believe it's quite similar to the U8K, with slightly nerfed colour outputMore than likely no
Yeah the 7 series is always just a step or so behind the 8, but I don't think the panel will be kakUgh, I also have that suspicion. Don't want to end up with a kak panel. I believe it's quite similar to the U8K, with slightly nerfed colour output
