Is there any way to play hvec movies from flash drive on the A8H standard??

Managed to find a flash drive thats compatible with the A8H it's a 64gb for 4k movies. Seems as tho all movies you download these days are hvec files because they compact and have good quality

What's happening on the Q8600? My A8H just had issues on HDMI 2 being noisy, then sometimes eArc wouldn't work, plus sometimes it just didn't turn on.
First noticed that it got blurry one day (in all sources/menus) and on closer inspection noticed horizontal alternating horizontal grey lines

Ouch that would be annoying.
Okay so they've come, had to take pics of the main board as apparently 3 revisions, they will be back with the correct board to replace mine.
Good luck. Hope its that simple for you.

From what I've read about my particular issue its likely not related to a board, but the panel itself.

39months old...and here I didn't bother registering for extra 12months warranty over and above the 36 month one :(

One typically has to register in the first 3 months of ownership for that?

Maybe is dependent where you buy from. I got mine from Makro and the Hisense guy was there at the time. He said it doesn't really matter, they would still honour the 4 year warranty. But the Makro site states 4 years and no note about registration.

I did register still anyway just in case

So they do all the work at your house? For free

It's a warranty repair, so yeah I guess?
Warranty :a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace it if necessary within a specified period of time
Yes looks like it's all free, so happy to hear they do the work at your house tho!! No need to disassemble and put into box and then reassemble again :)

They do that as well if you want them too.

Far wiser business practice to use the customer's house as storage and workshop!
