[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi guys to those who have bought the U7 series before, how is it? I have seen good deals on the U7Q and U7N
 
When choosing a QLED TV, it’s best to consider higher tier models such as the U7 or U8. Don't cheap out when buying QLED. These offer a greater number of local dimming zones. This to me is a must. Without local dimming, bright and dark areas are illuminated uniformly, leading to the whole scene having this grey-ish black.
 
Odd my Hisense u7qf had an update it's not had one since 2021

Can't always take the reviews of a higher model size over the smaller, sometimes panels are different due to stock. But in general I think the E7 series should be more uniform than say a A6 or U6.
 
my 65u8qf has started with some backlight issues in the one corner

Hoping to get a goodwill repair as i think the warranty is no longer active

Anyone managed to get a repair done when its a month or 2 out of the warranty period?
Or anyone had a shot at a diy fix?

You may just get in the warranty, remember it's 5 years
