7 days apart, and both on their Black Friday weekly deals. I feel for anybody who bought one yesterday and lost out on R4000.
 
Bought the Hisense 65U7Q that was discounted with ebucks over the weekend. It's not the PRO or the U8Q that I actually wanted, but it just didn't make sense not to buy it at that price (think it was R6.2k). I needed to replace my old LG that's turned rather aggressively blue over the years. I'm no telephile (not sure if that's a word) so won't make that big a difference to me anyway. As long as I keep my standards low, I won't realise what I'm missing out on.

Delivery is scheduled for Wednesday. Not sure what I'm going to do with my old TV though. It still works, it's just very blueish.

Did you try adjusting it?
 
Any Hisense OLEDs since they discontinued the A8H or are minileds their big focus nowadays?
 
Friendly reminder if you bought a new Hisense TV remember to set the backlight down to 25-30 / 100 as its the primary cause of all the backlight failures.
 
Need some advice if possible, bought a new 65 Qled a month ago and got a horizontal white line all of a sudden on screen. I have logged a support ticket but hoping someone has experience same and has a solution?

That is generally something that can't be fixed.
 
So far so good, repairs came to house today and collected TV, with an estimate of one week repair time. Quite impressed I have not had to push them for anything yet...
 
So got my TV back from Hisense after a week, white line is gone but now the tv goes bright and dark all the time. Everything is switched off, eco mode, auto lighting and dimming etc

Vok I should never have bought a Hisense

I've had four, one I gave to a friend and it's still going after 10 years 50" one. The 58" sold it to another friend and it's now 8 years old still going really well.
My 65u7qf from 2020 still going strong and yes I did have to call warranty on my A8H due to an hdmi port that went wonky but that was 3 years ago already and it's still going strong.
It might be that they got entry level tvs and expected high end performance?

Tell them to pick it up and fix it. Which model is it?
 
Hisense can be good and it can be utterly garbage in some respects as well BUT which TV brand isn't exactly the same as that - mine died just as the warranty ended - and in no way was i going to pay to get it fixed - i just got me a bigger TV from a different brand with better features (QLED, 120Hz refresh rate, find my remote, HDR10+, Google TV, etc)

the thing is that i am a heavy user ie i use it as my PC monitor and i watch at least 4 hours of TV per day AND i leave it on 24/7 so i really need heavy duty capable stuff not models where the backlight dies just as the warranty ends ..... as it stands mine died after just two years and was fixed under the warranty, then just before the 4 years was up the replaced one started showing symptoms that it was on its way out - they refused to fix it till it died and it only died after the 4 year point expired. End result is that now i won't experiment with Hisense again because i'm trying Skyworth now and IMHO TCL is also an interesting option and these alternatives from anecdotal accounts from other people who have them generally last longer than Hisense
