How so?
You mean like when ngwe23 bent over backwards to make excuses for Qwabe's racism?
If judges continue to be bias towards any agenda....it shows that they are human and also flawed.
They should not be held in the high esteem that is forced upon us mere mortals......
Whether she is a racist or not is not the issue.... the bigger issue is that the SA judicial system continues to fragment society....
It's not about poking holes, it's about making sure she actually said what Schutte said she did. If what the Judge is supposed to have said is true, then she shouldn't be a judge anymore. However her career as a Judge and possibly in the legal profession as a whole are at stake, it's worth making sure that she actually said what was attributed to her before she gets crucified..
Huh?
That is indisputable. She even admitted to it. But carry on defending her and exposing yourselves in the process.
You are lying. Please provide a quote.
That is what some of these people dont get. Qwabe is just but a symptom of a larger movement fueled by anger. Look at Malema and his party. I still maintain that punitive measures should have been taken against those that advance and benefited from Apartheid. Because they people were let of the hook, they have no appreciation of the damage that was done to blacks. That is why even today a they think black man has no legitimate reason to cry foul. We are branded lazy, sissy that should get on with it.
The judges are the ones who put themselves in this high esteem by signing their oath of office, we the public are merely assisting them to keep their end of the bargain.
From the other thread, I always thought I was safe by changing threads, but now........
That is indisputable. She even admitted to it. But carry on defending her and exposing yourselves in the process.
Actually, she is claiming Schutte took her conversation out of context.... so yes she has admitted stating the things she has, but that there is context missing from what Schutte has posted. That context COULD potentially change things.
By all means...
You'd think a person with such an extensive legal background would know better than to speak as if they are a politician where what they say has to be rationalised and requires spin doctoring to understand the context of their utterances.I honestly think that was what she was trying to bring up.... and possibly (at least in her mind) that it is a bit more prevalent in "black culture" (I'm just using her generalisation) than would be expected...

Well done, you played yourself.
But she does not dispute the veracity of the qoute. Sorry but you are going to have to spin harder
BTW, since when do we accept a " Um, I was quoted out of context" excuse? When it is not a ANC official?
But she is human, and we have no idea what her state of mind etc etc etc was when she had that conversation...
True, people say strange things when their state of mind is compromised in some way...........
You made an excuse for what he did by citing black anger. He refused to tip based on the waitress' race but in your mind he is partially justified, or as that a mis-reprensentation of your views?
