Petition started to remove judge over rape comments

When under pressure,strain...the true nature of the beast comes to fore...no more energy or will available to secure the façade, ...unless you dealing with a psychopath, in that case....you already dead.

+ 1 with emphasis on the bolded word.

I knew it was a matter of time before someone who has a better way with words than me came along

No, I am explaining what could lead to such behavior. Racism doesn't happen in a vacuum. There are always underlying issues at play. That is not excusing racist behavior.

It is a fact the bad socio economic conditions drive young men to resort to violent crime. Does that mean I am excusing violent crime?

It's a fine line between creating causation and excusing said behaviour but you where pretty dismissive of other people when they cited the Judge's experience with her cases which might have coloured her viewpoint...

So you are ok with a professional person being crucified and losing their livelihood based on a few cherry picked parts of a conversation rather than getting the whole conversation?

What good for Qwabe should be good for the Judge. You are calling for Qwabe to be castrated.

yes. you do.

The problem isn't only that Qwabe is racist, it's that he is stepping into what is white territory. How dare he be racist? Doesn't he know this is the exclusive right of white people? Tsk tsk...

So would it be accurate to say that is it,... um ...their culture? ;)

As if non white people aren't more racist than white people lol

I don't see that as "bending backwards to excuse Qwabe's actions" in any way, tbh.

He asked for a quote, I gave it, perhaps "bending backwards" was over stating it but the impression I got was that he felt their was some kind of justification for his actions. If he has condemned Qwabe's actions unequivocally elsewhere and I missed it then I will withdraw the point, however his general attitude about "white tears being more precious" doesn't exactly show a lot of sympathy towards the incident.

Have you done this study? Have you any sources? What does 'more than likely' mean? Have you actually looked at their methodology?
This is the problem with all your 'more than likely's' etc, it exposes your prejudices and bias. It's how you think the world is. It's also typical that you use this scale to back up your argument and then when it's shown to actually oppose your argument then suddenly it's not accurate

Yes, in some African cultures more than others, same as there are aspects of some European cultures, Asian cultures, American cultures that delegate women to a lesser status. Do you think this is unique to so called 'african' culture?

Yes I have used this study but it was aimed at looking at the difficulties you might face entering into foreign markets. I used the words “More than Likely” as it is difficult to give absolutes.

I will say that this has brought out your prejudice and bias quite nicely.

It also show how you have failed to comprehend the information.

Try this
The study is like google, the accuracy of your search will be determined by the parameters that you input. So if you say south Africa it will give you a large result which will not really answer your question. In order to answer your question you will need to add parameters to refine the answers
So lets say Sex, Race, Age, Geographic location etc This will give you a better answer

The scale shown on their website is from a broad search and the answer will be skewed as the sub components will change the answer. Therefore you have to refine it.

As for the aspects I mention been unique to African culture of course they aren’t, they can been found in all cultures at various points in their development. I would hate to see what the tool would show if applied to ancient Rome.

Good or Bad these aspects do exist and need to be dealt with

You were the one who brought up this study and those were the only results I could find, and they do not support your assertions about so called 'black culture'. If you have other, more refined results you wish to share with us then please do so.
I suspect you don't as you yourself said " at the moment you can only make an general analysis based on common cultural traits found across African tribes in South Africa." - so where are these results?

Yes, these aspects do exist and need to be dealt with but lets not pretend it's confined to 'black culture' when actually it's an issue for men from all cultures to deal with

You would make a great politician.

All men should deal with issue, but compared to the other races in SA the incidence of rape is higher among'st the black population, this is apparent even if you take into account the population size. Therefore this is an indication that there are aspects of African culture that contribute to it, you could take it further and look at the geographical location, age, tribal affiliation, economic and educational status of the assailants in order to get a clearer of what these aspects are and where they manifest.

MY earlier remark regarding Xhosa vs Venda, was based on the fact that I believed that a study using the parameters I named above would be considered racist

As for literature there i quite a bit, but this one was quite interesting
RAPE, RAGE AND CULTURE: AFRICAN MEN AND CULTURAL CONDITIONS FOR JUSTIFICATION OF, AND SANCTIONS AGAINST RAPE

You must have been asleep during your history class. White men stole land and instituted racially discriminatory law all over Africa. In return black people have largely been reconciliatory towards their former oppressors.

You must have missed out on the prior few weeks of history class, black man stole land and killed each other enmass prior to the white mans arrival...

So that detracts what white people did to black people. Does it make it OK? You are the master of red herrings and diversionary tactics.
