Petrol-engine drones have serious power

Nice! Liquid fuel based engines - definitely a game changer in multi rotors for flying time / range and payload capacity variables.

Fuel based fixed wings have been around for a little while now. One of the world's best is built right here in Knysna, South Africa

You wanna lift 2 people with 100kg max loading weight? Good luck with that.

Still...100kg is pretty good for a drone.

Fuel based fixed wings have been around for ages as well as helicopters. The issue is the same as it's always been, synchronising the multi engines, more difficult on a fuel based system.

In this case the petrol engine generates electricity, not lift.

What consideration is there for safety of the cargo and the people below?

Not sure what you're asking. That depends on the manufacturer and operator. You get careless and careful people. Flight paths need to reflect human safety for sure. Good video btw - fascinating to see.
