My reserve light cam on a little while ago. I think I will drive in reverse for a while and that should see the light and fuel gauge return to normal.

You and I are not the same, I will have been on a range of 0km for 50km, and push the loud pedal to the floor to hear the V6 TDi sing.

Don't do it often, but apparently my car records when the range estimate hits zero and the ECU puts the car in "reduced performance" mode.

All I know is that there was a Youtuber that bought an i30n and drove it full to empty over and over all over the country and the fuel pump died. Was replaced under warranty.

Yikes, I dont want my petrol pump to suck in all that bottom of the barrel gunk. Goodluck getting that diesel engine running again after it shuts off from fuel starvation.

Years ago, I ran out of petrol 10 metres from home in my 1992 honda ballade, no issues to the car. But that car ran on fumes. It was the first and only time I ran out of fuel.

story's been doing the rounds since yesterday, I paid attention to the fuel stations I drove past and saw cars being filled at every single one of them

worst I saw was a traffic cone blocking access to one or two specific pumps while cars are filled at the remaining pumps
