Your fuel pump, the low pressure in tank one anyway isn't always fully submerged in fuel but the fuel does help keep it cool.

All I know is that there was a Youtuber that bought an i30n and drove it full to empty over and over all over the country and the fuel pump died. Was replaced under warranty.

On Friday the Shell in Hugo St Goodwood and the Total at N1 City were out of fuel. Today when I drove past that Shell they were fairly busy. Can someone in CT confirm if this indeed an "issue"?

Hyundai, @epah 's hyundai is made from cardboard on the outside, now you're telling me the inside is made from the same material? I've been driving my cars full to empty for years and I've never had an issue like that, and I've done a combined 800k+ km.
Cape Town West Coast area mainly.Where did we run out of fuel? I've had no problems filling up, neither does anyone I know.
Ah. OK. Not a massive crisis.Cape Town West Coast area mainly.
