pfsense and whatsapp

Hi

I have installed pfsense in a test environment and its working fine. However I cannot get whatsapp to work.

I have the default LAN firewall rules in place.

I have checked the squid realtime logs and noticed the following.

Surely If I have the default LAN rules it should be sufficient?

Add an exclusion for filtering WhatsApp in Squid

.whatsapp.com
.whatsapp.net
Otherwise bypass all of these

How come whatsapp wont work with the default LAN rules which allows everything out from the LAN?

It's not actually to do with the LAN rules but instead the HTTPS filtering of your Squid transparent proxy
