However I cannot get whatsapp to work. I have the default LAN firewall rules in place. I have checked the squid realtime logs and noticed the following. Surely If I have the default LAN rules it should be sufficient? Thanks

It's not actually to do with the LAN rules but instead the HTTPS filtering of your Squid transparent proxy
