Yes, you've mentioned that once or twice. I don't believe I said anything about you working, not working, or me caring at all. Do you want a cookie? Standing ovation? A blow job? Can probably organize one for you. I'll pay cash, because I doubt a hooker would trade you for it.

Also, how miserable and pathetic is your life, if this is what you view as your contribution to society - ie, your work? I'd off myself.

2) I don't have a survey but I can point you to something that probabily is quite good:

You can bet these people were not racing in unmodified Opel 1991 monza COTYs, so it is fair to say that the presence of extensive and unnecessary modification has to be a precursor to street racing.

Hotspots included Ottery, Athlone, Grassy Park, Belhar, and Bellville South.

a quick search on youtube will reveal a sufficient amount, how much would you consider sufficient?

also how many poor people are there, how many of them own cars, how many cars are modified? what is the percentage? lets compare that to the rich?

But absolutely agree Industrial is the BA of Engineering.

Wifes sister has one and despite the massive salary that Sasol paid her she could never definitively explain what she actually does.

Well, you said many. So that implies you surely had some value in mind. You wouldn't just make vague statements to support your case without first having done research in order to substantiate such, would you?

I am in the very same category, I did a very research oriented master's degree, yet I am doing something right now that isn't related to the field. Hence why the investment of 5-7 years IMO is not worth it from an economics point of view( that is, if you want to be in business as opposed to academia).

If you have that work experience and can see there is a good PhD topic that would be relevant, then the two line up and I would be first person to say go for it. But most people don't really know what topics might be good one or not. This is why the PhD graduate in the OP couldn't find work.

A masters degree is a light introduction to research. It's a good degree, but does not really gear one up for doing research as a career.

The guy in the OP probably can't get work, because he appears to be searching for a postdoc, when he doesn't have a PhD.

Was thinking the same.

At some point, you have to do what you have to do to eat.

I'd rather have 10k than nothing even if I was supposed to be paid 50k.
