facts are generally verifiable, you know like it can be verified if 60 sheep are slaughtered on a property

The most telltale sign of people who want to look rich are people who get deeply involved in cars, specifically worthless POS cars.. Especially when they get "emotionally attached" to them when they are not particularly special vehicles. Actually this goes most material possessions, not just cars. People who are rich generally don't get emotionally attached to cars as they simply view them as consumer items and get rid of them the moment they become useless.

I am merely telling you that you may need to learn the definition of a fact (which you seem to vaguely get), but you do struggle with identifying when a person is conveying a fact.
 
Being in construction I come across a diverse set of expertise and so forth.

I have a civil engineering degree and my experience is predominately structures.

Typically I find that people who have done masters or PhD, tend to gravitate towards the design and consultancy side, rather than the actual construction side. Largely due to lack of practical experience, they are heavily entrenched in the theory.

Sometimes they (PhD qualified) venture into the construction field and in my opinion its a disaster.

Literally struggling now with changing a whole set of procedures because a doctor in structural engineering decided it was best if we build the structures in the fancy way he envisaged.

It became almost impossible to build it, without drastically increasing the cost and risk to the poor workers.

Basic straight forward principles of how we go to work and build it in the most efficient and safest way possible were ignored.

We will still build it in accordance with the design and spec, but far easier, quicker, cheaper and safer.

maybe you should become familiar with what is an opinion, which is what I see you expressing, an opinion based on no facts

I got deeply involved in cars when my first car broke and I had no money to fix it, so I started to wheal and deal to fix my car.

that's significantly different to what you stated above

The theory explains why you see extensive and unnecessary car modification in poorer areas happening to cheaper cars.

It is also why you don't really see this type of behaviour in richer people.

If you genuinely were wheeling and dealing to fix your car, you would be treating them as objects and not be emotionally attached to them.

you do know you get twin turbo Lamborghinis, infact many of them run aftermarket turbochargers, as well as other cars that generally only rich people own that are heavily modified.

and have you got a survey that you did on this extensive and unnecessary car modification in poor areas? have you got actual data to back this up?

you make lots of assumptions with no facts
