Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

I may get "flammed" but I don't give a crap.

After a good few years of use my non-Philips AF packed up, switch on nothing happens, at the worst possible time. Funds are super low after the US trip & the clutch on my banger ducked out & needs to be attended to.

Couldn't justify paying ~50% extra for the brand name, Takealot DD to the rescue. The brand is known & reviews for the most part are very positive.

Before anyone asks the small size is perfect for a single oke.

Only problem I have with this is why didn’t you get the Xiaomi instead.

I tried it this week, at 100 degrees C (theoretically the temperature of boiling water at sea level) and for 6 minutes. The outcome was for was a near-perfect soft-boiled egg.

Hmm very interested to try this as the egg boiler thing standing loose on the counter and keeping it clean because nobody else bothers annoys me.

How many do you cook at a time or is it kind of irrelevant?

Philips has the patent so we'll see.

I don’t think theirs is anything like Philips from what I’ve seen in videos.

But I’ll confirm after next Sunday when I get hands on with one.

What I do like about their is the more modular basket setup making it easier to pop in the dishwasher and keep clean.

Definitely no star pattern.

It’s flat bottomed and has venting on the side.
