Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Lol they guy that's been trying to discredit air fryers the whole year finally got one. You can't make this up.
Firstly I had an air fryer long before you, even before these things was called air fryers. It has been well documented that an air fryer is just a mini convection oven that fit on your kitchen top.
Secondly I only discredit the Philips marketing BS.
Thirdly I said its not a Philips, yet contrary to your normal lingo, you just acknowledged that I have an air fryer even if its not a Philips, so will be saving this post of yours

Airfryer =/= air fryer.

My first try out on the new AF might be a dissaster. Supposed to have loadshedding 2-6 but it never came. So started chicken at 4h30 and 15min later power went off. Now I’m sitting with half cooked chicken that will be cold when I have to start over at 6
Happened to me today as well. Two pieces of fish in the Airfryer (no loadshedding scheduled), and then an unplanned outage five minutes in. Had to revert to the (gas) stove-top.

I present to you the Goldair 8L air fryer with patented gold medal golden air technology. It was on promotion at Makro for R1999 and I liked the big basket but was scared as it has no reviews or much info. Then I saw that P&P had it on special for R1599, so thought its so cheap I will take a chance. Don't know how long they will have left as in the 10min I was there 4 other people came in to buy one.

Really big basket, had a 1.3kg chicken with some roast potatoes in, could probably add some veg in there also without crowding it. The double cook with load shedding messed me around a bit as it was brown already before the second start over cook.

At this point in photo I dropped temp to 155 deg and another 15 min and must say saved it and was perfectly cooked

Happy so far after first attempt that did not go as planned. Although I do miss the almost silence of the Safeway.

How long did it cook? That is the question.
You must link us a few of the photos of your cooking results on this thread, can't recall seeing any.
Let me explain cooking to you again, as I did previously. You can get a full chicken golden brown and crispy in less than 10 min. But it won't be properly cooked inside. So most convections ovens/air fryers will cook the same size chicken more or less the same time. Your starfish will make no difference. It takes time for the heat to penetrate all the way through to the bones. No magic air is going to penetrate through the meat faster. You can up your temp and do it faster, but then you will burn the outside.
