Won't know. I buy my chicken as is from the butcher and self prep for kfc like or snitchels. So a question. All these crumbed precooked stuff you buy, they have all been fried in oil and then frozen. So does that not kind off defy the argument of healthy air fryer with less oil?
And no I don't care about the oil, if oil is need to make something taste better then so be it. Just asking as many always claim the health benefits.

Unless you've said philips airfryer 6 times backwards? This thread has nothing to do with Defy. This is Phillips creap![]()
Same difference. It still induce the Maillard reaction.Convenience aside. Fried foods just taste better when they're fried... in oil. Sure, you can spray oil on them and try to airfry them, but it doesn't compare. I'll deal with the extra few minutes it takes to heat the oil, it's worth it.
That said, an airfryer is probably the safer option, over a deep fryer, for kids. They'll eat anything anyway.
That's not cooking oil ! Damn just got sick just looking at the picture.Currently R37.50 per litre at checkers.
That's a savings of R962.50 for you (R3850.00 for four litres!!!) - you should consider stocking up!

I tried them with this sauce, it's close to KFC's dunked wings sauce, a bit less sweet.
It's pretty good.

Accessory prices are ridiculous
Does it get sticky or does it give bathroom runs like dunked wings?
No need for that I cook pizza just fine in my Philips XL.Accessory prices are ridiculous
Even if the pizza tray works wonders its still not worth it
