Look at that price point happy to pay the extra R1k for the bigger model.

However the bigger model looks older? More manual? Are all there newer features something people are using?

By the time you stopped asking questions that XXL would probably be sold out.
All the Phillips models will probably have the same quality. So your only decision should be Do you want a Phillips and what size.
That said, the Hirsch R3999 is not really that a great special. This Checkers one on the XXL is a bit better, but there should be another one on BF similar or maybe even better somewhere. No guarantees but it's your choice. Even the normal XL should somewhere be on a bit better special on BF. But you never know, that's the chance you take

The XXL is only slightly larger than the XL.

A three seater couch is not much bigger than a two seater, yet on one two can sit and the other three. If even Philips own marketing say 3-4 people, then you should know its closer to 3. So why would someone with a family of 5 buy the XL?
1L bigger can make a big difference. How big is a drumstick, 200ml?

My post had nothing to do with how big the family is. I was just saying that the XXL is NOT that much bigger.
If you can't even understand your own posts, how can you understand anyone else's ?

Our family of 5 manages just fine with the XL.
