I don't see a problem with it. I bought my XL in 2019.
Yes it's dishwasher safe. Just put the whole unit in it

Your arguments never stops to amaze me. I do not have to own a Citi golf and a Caravelle to know the one is for a single lonely person and the other for a family.
Yours is 6.2L does not matter what BS you talk, IT STAYS 6.2L
Mine is 8L, does not matter what BS you talk its still 25% bigger than yours. And even the 8L might be a bit small for some things if your family consists of 5
