Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

I have, but mine is an older model.
The XXL I have seems like it is actually possible as it has normal screws.

My previous XL needed a special torx type screwdriver and i could never find one that fits.

Can you maybe advise if the element can be removed (similar to an oven) or is it better to leave it in place?

I got most of those small tools since I love gadgets and try to fix all sorts of things. Sometime to my own dismay.
I disassembled mine completely since I bought is second hand and it was filthy.
Scrubbbed everything with degreaser.

The element can be removed but you have to disassemble the unit almost completely. I would not recommend it.
The touch portion on the display gave me issues afterwards and the unit would turn off randomly due too poor connection and out of lots of frustration later on I hit the darn thing on its head. The fan bent and is somewhat unbalanced and now making the unit more noisy.
I got the touch display fixed but the unit is noisy since.

Thanks for the info. Yeah would want to avoid removing the outer body.

Hot air is hot air
Dont need a Philips when my Milex does the same job
No difference

I mean...

If that were true, your fan oven would do the same job. I think there's value to be had in the way that these air fryers blow the air around.

But I'm too lazy (and cheapskate) to do direct comparisons. If I were a youtuber I'd buy several of them and compare results. But I'm not.
