Yes, this is the stupidest thing about an air fryer. Mostly you want to do two things in it for dinner and then one is cold by the time the other is finished.
So you decide you want to make a quick dinner in the air fryer, Lets say chicken pieces or some crumbed meat etc. with some chips. Its almost impossible, one is going to be cold and not crispy anymore. And doing in batches also takes the quick dinner off the table.
Getting 2 air fryers is also not an option as they will use more power than your oven.
Air fryers are for single people or to heat up some precooked food. Here and there just to make chips or a single meat dish, but can never replace your oven or stove.
They prefer the Ninja there for some reason. Not sure why I'd like to clean two baskets.

I think the Ninja does have a single basket model available. They do seem to be very high quality products so beyond the dual basket arrangement I can see why.
Would love to see them in SA for the Creamy.
What they are all lacking are proper digital screens and interfaces like the Dreo Chefmaker.
Now THIS is a cooking appliance.

Hmm, you’ve convinced me that I need a second Philips Airfryer.Yes, this is the stupidest thing about an air fryer. Mostly you want to do two things in it for dinner and then one is cold by the time the other is finished.

Its almost like you could put things into your oven at different times, so they all finished at the same time. It’s almost like you can’t put it back in for a minute before serving.
Almost.
It’s not as if every meal with an oven all comes out at exactly the same time either, there will always be an element of keep warm or re-warming no matter what you use.
Ironically it’s what I use my oven for the most, keeping things warm.
That being said of course one of those dual basket jobs would be a nice to have, whether it would use more power than an oven remains to be seen.

Oh and putting something that has been standing outside for 20-30min back in for 1min, cannot heat it up. Just the outside edge maybe

Ok so you use your air fryer and then have to use your oven too, to keep it warm. Lol bit ridiculous. Use even more electricity. Just do it all one time in ovenThat’s why you don’t leave it outside but put it in something that keeps it warm…obviously.
If it is as efficient as the Philips, would be nice to have. They prefer the Ninja there for some reason. Not sure why I'd like to clean two baskets.
