Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

I just bought the Philips Airfryer, and when we opened the box we couldn't find the divider thing nor the baking tray... what gives?

We got the black one... is there a different model or something I don't know about?

Check the exact model number online, it will list they accessories.
Generally the black one, which I have, does not come with baking pan, the white and purple one does usually I believe. I went with the black one because it looks better, I knew it didn't come with the baking pan.

Afaik there are 3 colour
black, white + purple and white + silver/grey
they all come on their own and some have bundles which incl the divider or baking tray

Anyways
you guys making anything cool in yours?
Just been using mine for chips, samoosas etc

will you post a samoosa recipe please?

will you post a samoosa recipe please?

sure no problem
go to your nearest supermarket frozen food section
look for the aisle with little boxes in
search for the ali baba boxes
choose your flavour
stand in line
pay
go back home
dump a a handful in the airfryer on high for about 10 mins
check to see if its done
if not give it a shake and few more mins in the fryer

Hope that helps ;)

What do you guys think of my thread idea:

We post the item (perhaps a photo of the product) and also temp + total time to get it perfect... I'm sure some of you have your favorites and have the time/temp down to a science :p
We could also post non store bought items - recipes.

The recipe book is great, but I'm sure there are many many more things you guys have used it for - A central thread containing everything could be cool?

I could even update the first post with an index of everything (linking to the post of course)

What you guys think?

But..... 45 Minutes to make Chips? Ugh, no thanks.

The hurricane milex is R1600 at makro. 14 days money back no questions asked policy.

yesterday i roasted an average sized woolworths chicken which was supposed to take 60 -90 minutes but it took 120 minutes on 170°. Sweet potato chips took 30 minutes on 200° instead of recommended 20 minutes.

the chicken was delicious but could have done with another 10 minutes as even marginally underdone chicken doesn't do it for me.

i THINK it used a humungous amount of electricity because my prepaid meter was on 1026 when i began and 1017 at the end although the pool pump, tv and some lights were on at the same time.

i intend trying a variety of recipes and will monitor electricity usage properly over the next 14 days.
