Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

I completely stripped an XL air fryer. It was filthy & full of grease and had to use industrial de-greaser to get the grease off.

Putting it all together again I am not sure where 2 rubber seals should go. Was hoping the community can check and report back. There are 2 rubber seals that cover the element. Looking from underneath one should see the location. The unit is covered with 2 metal plates thus the rubbers can be installed on the inner cover plate or the outer cover plate. Which is it. The picture attached shows the rubber is currently installed on the outer cover plate.
I am not sure if that is where is should be?

Oh damn then i missed out. let me check if the special is still running.

Edit: Doesn't look like the special is still running online. I will keep hunting.

Its definitely rust spots. If I rub my finger along the bottom it dips down in the rust spots. I thought it was grease strains at first and tried more oven cleaner directly on the spots for a few min.

We took it to makro earlier today. They will assess and probably replace it in a few days

Makro got back to me, they giving a credit refund voucher of the price I paid. Its still the same price so Ill pick up a new one while Im there

You probably are doing this, but a tip from me with any appliance, once washed or wiped put the Airfryer on for a couple of minutes so it can dry thoroughly. Especially here in this humid climate. I also leave the drawer slightly open so moisture does not get trapped. Also if you use a dishwasher, don't leave the pan and stuff in the dishwasher after a wash.

The presets do indeed all do different things, at different temps, for different durations.

And my bacon "biltong", while not photogenic like it's owner's painfully curated nails, turned out almost as well.

Maybe what you should have done is swapped the racks when you flipped them so they get equal exposure to the element

Yeah I also put it on for 2 or 3 min to dry out properly after washing. Ill try leaving the drawer open from now. It wasn't a problem with my old unit though.

I'm using my folks 9260 and I think it's better than the 9270 (newer model)

The basket slides on a fixed track, unlike the newer model where you must take the basket out and place it on a counter top. The older model can sit at closer to edge of the counter and still open the basket fully.

It has an audible beep for when the air fryer reaches the set point temperature and when the timer is up. Like I can hear it across the house. With my newer model I used to listen if the fan is still running or not if I'm in the lounge/room
