It looks like steamed dumplings.Tried vrikkadels in the airfryer tonight for the first time. Didn't change my recipe. No oil at all added.
Don't think I'll ever make them any other way again. Did in batches of 9 vrikkadels, 12 minutes a batch.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot... only thing I changed was frying the onions, peppers and garlic first since I knew they wouldn't cook in the airfryer.
If you fried the aromatics first, didn’t the oil make it harder to bind the mince?Tried vrikkadels in the airfryer tonight for the first time. Didn't change my recipe. No oil at all added.

Definitely didn't taste like it. Was nice and crisp on the outside, and moist inside. It looks like steamed dumplings.
I used as little oil as possible when frying, didn't have an issue with it staying together. It wouldn't be a bad idea to dab off extra oil if your fried ingredients did end up a bit oily.If you fried the aromatics first, didn’t the oil make it harder to bind the mince?
Aha. I’m going to try it this week.I used as little oil as possible when frying, didn't have an issue with it staying together. It wouldn't be a bad idea to dab off extra oil if your fried ingredients did end up a bit oily.
I agree, I doubt the oil will kill you or lack of it make you live forever - the point for me is to have an oven that is fast and convenientI love using lots of oil when necessary. Don't fall for the "little oil" sales gimmick unless you are fat. Veggies love lots of oil.
Looks like your bum yes. Now go and troll elsewhere. It looks like steamed dumplings.
I love oil, or even better, ghee.I love using lots of oil when necessary. Don't fall for the "little oil" sales gimmick unless you are fat. Veggies love lots of oil.

Why not?first since I knew they wouldn't cook in the airfryer.
I figured 11-12 minutes wouldn't be long enough to cook the onion inside without drying out the meatWhy not?
