Hi.
I bought a phillips late go 3200 second hand. Machine works perfect accordinv to me. Just have a question about the drip tray filling with water. I catch the rinsing that it does after switching on and off, in a cup, But after making coffee. There is always still water in the drip tray. Around 30-40ml. It that normal or do i have a leak somewere? Machine was cleaned thougoughly.

If it's like my soleli it is catching excess water from the internals/heating elements. Should see an outlet pipe that goes into the drip tray somewhere on the machine.

Its not something to worry about, jut one of the reasons it has a drip tray

Assuming you bought yours new. Did it do that from the begining?
Bought it new, yes. I'm not sure tbh.. It might have but most p[robably not as much as it does now. I only noticed it a few months back. No change after descaling and normal clean cycles either.

the pump pressurises the boiler it gets hot ,it makes the coffee while pumping ,when it stops pumping any excess pressure is released .via a one way valve between the pump and the boiler.the rinse feature usually but not allways can also be turned off ,some eject the release to the front others into the side receptacle

Remove the brew group and you will see a little spout with 2 red o rings inside the machine. Check if they are worn or damaged and lube them

Thank you for all the info guys. Will definately check when I get home but by the looks of it I shouldnt be to worried.

This is normal. The drip tray will always get water from somewhere, even if you have a cup or something under the spouts while doing the rinse cycles.

Had this with my Saeco Minuto and my new Phillips.

Enjoy the cleaning and emptying :D

Yeah definately looks like normal water now that I know other peoples machines do it aswell. Thanx for all the info

So I've done some more searching on this issue, seems to be a massive problem. I've replaced the o-rings on the valve towards the output, as I've noticed the area behind the valve to be wet which should not be. O-rings replacement did not work, now for the next hunt..
