You seem pretty au fait with the mechanics of these machines.Remove the brew group and you will see a little spout with 2 red o rings inside the machine. Check if they are worn or damaged and lube them
I'm afraid that with no water coming out of the spout, it is most likely an internal component failure, either a pump or valve. Probably not a DIY job if you are not comfortable with opening appliances. You seem pretty au fait with the mechanics of these machines.
My 4300 stopped working after the morning's first cup with nothing come out of the coffee outlet. I followed the online FAQs but there doesn't appear to be air in the system, the brew group is clean, filter removed, descaling hasn't helped...
Any suggestions? I see there is a service centre in Woodmead so was going to drop it over with them.
Ok thanks for that. I probably burned through half the contents of the hopper trying to get it working after cleaning the brew group twice, descaling, poking things up the outlets etcI'm afraid that with no water coming out of the spout, it is most likely an internal component failure, either a pump or valve. I actually once fixed an airlock on a family members machine by just directing some pressure from a hose pipe into the water inlet, but if you had an airlock the descaling process would not have worked either.
