Phone charging cables

All my OEM cables last for years.

I am not accusing you of poor cable treatment, but I do believe that cable etiquette is important. Grasp the head, not the wire, when putting it in or out. Get a cable holder or tape the cables to your cabinet to prevent them moving around, falling to the floor, and being stepped on.

I got 2, both 1.8m (like is for 1m one, search for others), a USB micro and a USB C.

Those R60 cables at Cash Crusaders are pretty decent. Used to buy them on TA but Cash Crusaders one's are just as good.

That is not the problem the cable comes away from the usb plug that goes into the phone.

Sounds exactly like the problem, poor cable treatment. My EOM cable lasted 3 years, but my poor cable treatment meant it died exactly how you describe.

Almost nothing beats the cables blackberrys came with.

You still need a charging cable to connect the wireless charger.

That never works for me.

Oh wait, charging cables...
I need a cable that has greater protection where it enters the USB head because i am on a 24/7 oxygen concentrator and on my bed most of the time and use my phone constantly so looking for something strong.

Did you look at the ones in my Takealot link? Has exactly that extra protection:

Same.

I have some iPad cables probably around 5 years in working order.

My kids and wife on the other hand brake theirs in quick time cos they pull and bend however they want.

Cable-killers! Same problem for me. When I moved in with my girlfriend I had six cables and now I'm down to the last two. She takes them out of the house and they never come back.

Maybe under my circumstances it will be cheaper on the long run to get a wireless charger. How long does a wireless charger last?
Forever I guess. The only down side is that you can't be on your phone while they are charging.

I buy the Ldnio cables for everybody in the household. They seem to last a long time as well.

I picked up a bunch of these from the Cellucity bargain basket. They seem durable and the case will certainly come in handy if you need to smuggle your stash across the border.

You can always use a headset or speaker phone.
