you should ave asked for a 'rain cheque' I normally do that its valid for a month, and as soon as they have it in store you pick it up and the give it to you for whatever the price was in this case free (I have done it for free items too)

You should have gotten the rain cheque. Same things happens at Checkers. They somehow don't know about the stock of free items.

I am waiting for a reply from Pick n Pay, which I sent last night, regarding their advertised pricing on the shelves and their advertised prices on offer in their special paper they have going around and which is running from the 12th - 18th November as there seems to be some advertising issues which has cost us a few rand.

Just been contacted by Pick n Pay and it looks like the issue is resolved.
