Hi Guys

Check out my new game Pigs Can Fly!

You're a pig that can fly! Navigate through a maze of mines, eat food to earn points, collect all the letters to unlock items to customize your pig!

All artwork and development done by myself.

Out of interest:

What apps did you use to do the artwork?
How long did the artwork take?
How long did the development take?
 
Im guessing the artwork took more time than the dev.
 
Thanks Yuu! This is my first project and I learnt quite a bit from it. Already starting on plans for the next one. Will definitely let you guys test for me! Watch this space!

I used a combination of Inkscape and Gimp to do all the artwork.
Development time and artwork took roughly 2 solid months. About a month for each. I used artwork I found online as placeholders whilst I got the functionality down. Then I spent the next month tweaking code and making graphics.

Out of interest:

What apps did you use to do the artwork?
How long did the artwork take?
How long did the development take?

Not too much, but it will as I will continue to make more item graphics for customization and add more with each update.

Any suggestions for game concepts/ideas or items are welcome :D
 
Just played it.

Firstly, nice work on the graphics and animation. It's cheesy but clean.

Suggestion wise, there are hundreds of 'let's see how far you can get' type games out there. Your game needs some work in terms of upgrades and power-ups to keep people trying, just don't go too mental on the pay to win aspect.

I'll keep it installed to follow your updates, good start though.

Thanks Fudzy! Any suggestions and feedback is welcome. I am in the process of adding power ups and different kinds of obstacles as well as more items to unlock and customize your pig.

I have just released an update with some performance optimizations, an updated loading screen, mines that explode on touch and a new game mode to make it easier for people.

Since I am one guy, they changes will take a bit of time, but will get there! And I thank you all for the support! Hopefully it will become a game you all will enjoy and can't put down.
 
haven't played it, not my style of game, but it looks really nice. Keep up the good work man :D More local devs the better!
