Pitso: Apartheid still divides our blacks

You probably don't know the guy. He's a highly opinionated twat at times; irritates even some of the fans of team he coaches. In other words, he thinks highly of himself, and more.
Ah, so the self-pitying is a act then....

And no I don't follow any kind of sports

I wouldn't call it self-pity. It's mostly his experiences and opinions about the system.
Self-pitying opinions yes. You don't choose what happens to you, you choose to either be strong and handle it or be weak and play blame games.

He handled it and went on to become one of the successful football coaches of the local game.

How is being taught in Afrikaans worse than being taught in English since both of them are second languages?

English is not my first language and it's never been a problem for me......

Because duh, on the whole, black people in SA speak English a hell of a lot better than they do Afrikaans. Hence it adds an extra layer of difficulty.

Would you rather be taught physics in English, or in Japanese since they are both not your first language anyway?

The fact that English help him play overseas far more than Afrikaans would have is probably lost on most.

Myth, at the time many preferred speaking afrikaans to english depending on the context. Apparently Afrikaans is superior for love poetry.... and other love related things.

Depends on how usefull Japanese would be in daily life, if I lived under a majority Japanese speaking government it would only make sense to have my children learn the language properly.

Must be one of those my garden boy told me stories.

You sure about that? Remember what the tw@s at university want != majority of the population.

The Japanese have a fantastic approach to education, so yes. I would have to take the Yellow pill on this

*goalposts screeching*

Now we've gone from it not making any difference to what type of government you have.

Also lol at people preferring it at the time. And here I thought they protested against learning in Afrikaans to the point of getting shot.

Why aren't black kids taught in their home language - South Africa wants to have 11 official languages, then cater for those 11 languages with all the expenses involved. Just make higher learning of English compulsory so that they can interact with the real world when the time comes, but each child should have the right to study in their home language.

You were the one making it an issue of preference.

pot stop calling the kettle black

I asked what difference does it make in terms of DIFFICULTY when choosing between the two

Also lol at people preferring it at the time. And here I thought they protested against learning in Afrikaans to the point of getting shot.
Yes, some did, those that did not were in danger of getting necklaced for being "traitors".

So you went from many to some?

Those goal posts must be hurting your back moving them around like that

I think you are confusing different goalposts and end up under the delusion that they shifted..... try again.

One thing about peddling BS is trying to remember the BS clearly you cant keep track of your BS from one post to the next.

Yes, you do seem to constantly have trouble with that.... perhaps it's best to stop?
