I’m in Finland for work, it’s minus fscking Baltic freezing outside so I jumped into the first takeaway nearest the hotel. Huge array of pizzas available so I asked him for the most popular one. Donner kebab meat, chicken, onion, fries and some cheesy type sauce on top. It was really good. Great base too.

Probably made by same seffrican guy who came up with chips bunny with sauce/achar idea. :p I would love to see Italians reaction to this one.

Howz Finland? A visit this year might be on cards for us this year and I am debating whether it is worth it or let wife go alone.

Reckon they were Turkish guys, they are big on kebab shops in this part of the world.

But yeah, Finland is great. I enjoy the place and am lucky enough to visit 2 or 3 times a year, although for obvious reasons summer is better :) Pretty expensive for eating mind you, that pizza was about R230 to takeaway which is super cheap compared to a restaurant where you'd expect to pay R350-400.

I have no idea what haggis tastes like but I have had braaied liver and kidneys before so would be willing to try it, the crust looks amazing would you mind sharing your dough recipe?

And for the heck of it the haggis as well? :)

Not sure of the dough recipe tonight, made by my wife earlier I’m afraid. And the haggis was imported (smuggled) from Scotland.

You know, everyone, and I mean everyone who is reluctant to try haggis for the first time and eventually has some, comes back for seconds and thirds. It really is delicious and all of the South Africans who I’ve coaxed into trying it absolutely love it.

I think the stomach casing might put me off but the filling (from what I can google) sounds pretty good
