Plane crash at OR Tambo (Only ACSA exercise)

i would help you murder them

No wait! let's sue the underwear off that airline :p

indeed, i am sure i would be able to claim some kind of emotional trauma/damages....americans do that all the time for far less stressful situations

if that was a drill then I might as well burn my house down to the ground with people inside and call that a drill too!!!

The following is a retraction issued by the South African Press Association:

SUBS/NEWSEDS: Please KILL our 'PLANECRASH-ORTAMBO'' issued from JOHANNESBURG on Tuesday, November 30 and headlined 'PLANE CRASHES AT OR TAMBO'. The Airports Company of SA (Acsa) has advised Sapa that it was only a drill.

reminds me of the emergency drill at my old work place :p

telephone call: "small, the computer has smoke and sparks coming out of it"
*i run upstairs at record speed*
"wow, that was quick. could you help this lady install office?"

"Attention passengers ! This is the captain. We are going to test the emergency response at OR Tambo, by pranging into an open field at Bonearo Park. Please be reassured that there is nothing wrong with the aircraft. We trust that you have enjoyed the flight and hope that you will fly SAA again. Have a nice day"

HAHA!

Ya, I mean, c'mon. Can you imagine the uproar if passengers were unnecessarily inconvenienced in any way during this excerise?

"I know you paid for a first class ticket, sir and yes, I can see that the emergency slide has somewhat ruined your suit. Your laptop? I'm afraid you should not have been carrying your laptop to begin with, sir. That is strictly against the rules as is demonstrated in the pre-flight safety announcement. As for the matter of your pilot crying hysterically over the PA system throughout your rather hairy approach, well, that was no pilot, sir. That was Alfons -- a trained ac-tor if you must know! On behalf of the airline, we request that you view this as a service to humanity rather than an expensive inconvenience to yourself. Next..."

I wouldn't put it past SAA to lose 240 people in a drill. :p
