I would if I could.

My problem is that work life interfered with my game time, so much so that I somewhere missed 2 gig's of updates.

Don't know why they did not use the usual Steam update system but now when I want to start a game it tells me "2+ gig incoming" so I normally end it and play something else that is on my PC. Guess one day when I remember I'll update again and play.

Also Path of Exile.
 
Really enjoying the Mass part of it. having up to 2000 people online at one time leaves you warping anywhere to a fight. Will be playing it for a long time I feel.

Sweet Fanie will do this evening around 9 or so, gonna be a blood bath. My username is LouisJ33zy and I only play as TR, for now.

Maybe hook up a MWEB public TS3 server sometime so we have comms
 
One question, how are the servers able to handle the amount of players? Play on the EU servers and there is no noticeable lag.

Will be joining this outfit of international TR players this week on the Ceres server, Saw their TS3 server and there are 20 plus okes jamming from all over, beats rolling with one or two mates or alone some nights!
 
Started playing this game for the first time this weekend.
I can say with all honesty, that I don't know what the fsuck I am doing.

It is some good fun though, just a bit overwhelming at first.
 
haha, i felt the same the first time I got on. But once you join a proper squad, and follow them around a bit, you get the understand what the whole thing is all about. Joining guys that understand wtf is going on, also help you level up, and get passed the noob stage of the game :)
 
I've been playing for weeks and still don't know what I'm doing... usually team up with a few friends and capture the less populated outposts. If someone calls for backup in an area then we might make a stop.
Use the mini-map to jump around.
 
GreyBush - what level are you now? I've really only played about 2 evenings, properly, and only at level 6 now...

thinking i should spend some cash to try and get leveled up... any good suggestions to spend $$$ on?

Noob... I'm level 12 :p I play when I have friends online, otherwise it's black ops 2. louisjeezy has been buying upgrades, he'll be best to advise you on what to get, I know there are some good upgrades for the mosquito and I paid for the bolt action sniper with my hard earned credits. That thing 1 shot kill on a headshot which it nice.
 
I played alone this weekend, that's probably why I am struggling.
Although, had a lekker session last night with some random strangers, were attacking a facility....... for over 2 hours without making any gain.
In some strange way, I actually enjoyed it.

Probably the crown, it's a grind to get into that place.

Can't remember the name, do remember you crossed a bridge in front of the place and then turn left.
Then there was a hell of a incline to the place, it's just at this incline where we were fighting like maniacs.

Personally I think SOE have done a good job at leveling all the guns and vehicles out, It really isn't a pay to win game. I have bought a handful of weapons that I actually don't even use. Some might have higher damage, but more recoil, and the standard (Free) guns might have slightly less damage and almost no recoil, and you end up using that because it's more accurate. Perfect example is the engineer/Light Assualt Trac-5. That gun with a Laser sight and 1x scope is awesome. Made over 750 kills with that combo so far. You save so much time just shooting from the hip than looking down the scope.

The only thing I buy now is the 50% XP Boost. That is the only thing worth buying in the game in my opinion. I did however also buy the RAMS-50 Sniper rifle and that is two shot body kill and 1 shot head shot. It has the highest damage out of all the snipers.

Also make sure to unlock suit abilities first before you start unlocking anything else. Most of my classes have level 3 or 4 Nanoweave armor. which is 15-20% extra health. Be aware that if you buy Flak armor or an advanced shield capacitor or ammunition belt. You can't apply all of them at once, I have wasted credits on buying Flak armor thinking I could use that alongside my Nanoweave armor but because they all fall under suit ability you can only apply one at a time.

Then i suggest you start unlocking tool and ability unlocks.
