[Please Note] Night surfer: new hours

Hours are fine, the problem is the speeds. I can only get about 1gb done from 12-7. Now I nees to do nite data downloads almost eveey night.
 
Tapatalk sucks.

Was wondering if it was just a glitch or the tower was overloaded with begin of month where everyone had their new quota of data.

Jan 1st had basically no throughput of data.

Also prefer the 11pm start for night surfer, do a lot of skyping at night due to time difference, otherwise Im happy with the service. Maybe Telkom could extend the use by date to 2 months?
 
Something is not right here.

The past month I was not able to download more than 800MB from 12:00. By the time I wake up, my connection is gone and I need to start downloading again.

Last week I decided to stay up and started downloading at midnight. At about 01:00 my connection just drops. I start downloading again and connection drops again. I need to reconnect every 30 minutes.

Besides that, download speeds between 12:00 and 07:00 is around 80KB/s to 150KB/s. After 07:00 this jumps to about 800KB/s to 1.2MB/s.

TM is up to something here...
 
Might be lots of people in your area using TM.

I don't download all the time, but got 6GB of a series in a single night without any problem, this past week.
 
Hopefully they are not BSing such a nice incentive

I'm having similar issues in PE. I can't get a GB done between 12 and 7. It's much slower than it was last year. The amount of data is still great, but TM's speeds have been dropping badly.

Looking at all the replies here and in the other Telkom forum where users are having problems, I am starting to think that either Telkom is unable to provide a proper service or they are forcing users to use their paid bandwidth instead of the free bandwidth.

This appears to be a failing infrastructure problem or a scam by Telkom as the problem is not limited to one area only.
 
I'm fine with the new hours. I do most of my downloads between 3am and 6am ... so it suits me perfectly
 
oh and I haven't noticed any drop in speed between day and night data either. I guess if it is slower it is because there is a lot of other people connected
 
So what's the status of Night Surfer and the times of it right now?

Just got an sms saying I have 402MB inclusive night Surfer Bundle data... Is Telkom mobile runnning a promo of sorts or?
