Another vote for Hoover, especially this model.

Depends what your budget is. Can never go wrong with a Hoover, but then again you can get a Karcher for about the same price.
Also most people never use the wet function of a wet and dry vacuum.

I have tile floors. Would the wet function not be a benefit?

Have a karcher wd3. Use the blow function quote a bit. The wet suction confuses me, the bag gets wet and existing dust turns to muck? Also have a Kirby, bulletproof machine, just glad I didn't have to buy it.

I have a Karcher WD3 and that thing is a machine. We have a Karcher shop close to us and parts seem te be cheap. Also, there are not a lot of fine parts on the vacuum.

It looks good. Basically the same price as the Hoover. Difficult decision. Basically a coin toss at this point

At the same price point Karcher any day of the week. I bought my hoovers at the R799 price.

Karcher is slightly better made and slightly more reliable than the Hoover. Might even become a family heirloom.

Shees, we have a Miele Complete C3 we have had for years, brought it to the US with us and it's worked here for 4 years (on lower power 110W) with no issues.

Looked at the price of them now - WOW, I don't remember paying that kind of price!
