Please recommend a vacuum cleaner

Is Karcher just better made? More reliable? Sorry I have no experience with any other brands.
just remember the smaller karcher machines bags are around R50 per bag in packets of 5 or 6 so around R280 per set ,reason why i dumped mine and the round filter is moer expensive and not washable ,converted a bennet washable filter for mine while i was still using it ,it also schreeches while using it ,not a very quite machine .

You can empty the bags you don’t need to throw them away.

I only change mine like once a year.

Also unless you want dust and allergies all over your house you want a bag over bag less, it’s a small price to pay.

Unless you go water based.

I bought a Bosch workshop vac last year and I'm pretty happy with what it does.

It is a bit expensive though.

I need a vacuum cleaner guys. What do you recommend? And please don't recommend Miele. :) Something budget, but dependable.

What do you guys own? Experiences? I need to keep my apartment clean. Right now it's a rats breakfast. I need assistance.

I know you said budget, but if you don't have super thick carpets or very hair pets, I would rather get a cordless one. It won't have as much suction power, but you will clean much more often if you can just grab it and spend 2 minutes speed cleaning a room.

What about the big green clean machine .
I have a Wap vacuum ,probably 20years old still going strong. Cant seem to find them anymore though

Rebranded as Nilfisk I think.

To OP, we had one of those Bennet Reed's - I think - that works on a water filter system. That was great. Dumping that filthy water down the toilet when you're finished. I wish I had brought it with me when I emigrated, as I haven't seen one of those here.

I hate the noise of a vacuum, so wanted one that is not a screamer. Went for a Wetrok.
