Please recommend a vacuum cleaner

Karcher all the way..

I clean after myself so have a WD3 & portable VC4 for the carpets, a FC3 cordless for the tiles and a K2 washer for outside, walls, car and paving/lapa area.

I also have a humongous old/antique Sebo that I was gifted and I'm reticent to dispose of but never managed to figure out exactly how to use, an old hoover wet & dry for the garage, woodwork and other dirty jobs & a handheld Genesis stick vac somewhere in the house.

If I had to buy Karcher now I'd go for their exchangeable battery range, a bit expensive but I've been saving not having to pay domestic waged for a couple years now so can buy whatever makes cleaning less of a chore.

I did a quick google search, it seems the WD3 filters are washable and reusable.

Is Kärcher WD3 filter washable?


300/WD3. 500. Washable and Reusable. Replace filter every 6 months. From Google.

just make sure its washable ,paper usually isnt,standard filter as on Builders website ,mine certainly wasnt .

More than 10k TBH lol.

But bought over time with the money I would have paid a domestic to lessen my load.

House is on multi levels due to sloping yard (sounds exotic but means I have 3 steps to the 1st 3 bedrooms & 2 steps to the main) , else I'd have bought a robovac too..

I just wish Musk would hurry up and release the Robomaid2000 so I can leasure away while it does the cleaning.

replace just before bag explodes covering you and the whole house in dust .

the little genesis powermax is also a good buy .you can at least just take the filter out ,take it outside and beat it clean against a tree,pole,neighbour etc .look at the Genesis Cyvlovac as well ,should also be great for a small place .

Replace the bag when it is full. Not everyone replaces the bag at the same intervals

Yeah, we got one from a family member.
Built like they did things in the old days, all metal and indestructible. Even the maid didn't break it.

Has some weird attachments like for sanding or something, never used those.
Tried the dry foam carpet cleaning attachment, which worked ok, just too much effort.
