Upper limit: roundabout R700

Thanks.

Currently also looking for one in that price range - have this one in my basket currently - google says reviews are good :

At that limit the Rival 100 is a superb option.

Just take note that the Rival 100 is very susceptible to wear and tear when overly used.

I don’t know Gigabyte mice in general, but I do own an Aorus M7 which is not the best mouse that I have ever had and it is poorly put together.

I got the M6880X from MyBB competition, I really like this mouse.
Only thing I don't like about the mouse you linked is the fact that you can't turn the light off.

You can always open it and disconnect/cut the lights...

I like shaped/right handed heavy mice, but was going to get the G302. Ended up getting a Func MS-2, really like it and happy with my choice

My G602 worked out at about R780 from Amazon US. Everything from item to customs included. Half the local price.
It's wireless and awesome

At that price range I'd shoot for a good logitech/microsoft rather than a "gaming" mouse.

You can get a very respectable wireless logitech for well under that. And wired ones are even cheaper (unless it's a premium wired "gaming" mouse...those are mysteriously more expensive)

Work out how you hold the mouse and then ask this question again...there are different grip types and not all mice feel good with different grips.

For example, I'm a fingertip gripper with a longish hand so longer, narrow mice feel nicer to me. I use a Logitech G400S at the moment and really like it...I've been eyeing out a G403 Prodigy for next month maybe as a birthday splurge.

Ordered the G700s yesterday for around R1000 all included from Amazon. With our glorious leader causing another crash in the Rand I think my timing was not too bad...

I can't personally vouch for the Rival 100, as I've yet to try one, but I've found Steelseries reliability and quality to be fantastic and it fits the allocated budget.

My Steelseries Xai, now +- 6 years old, is still going strong despite the sensor having being clogged up by at least two full coats worth of my cat's fur.

Got a G400S too. It's perfect for the size of my hand. I remember getting it on a real cool special, but can't remember where :(

I do remember it being quite cheap at a stage...maybe Rage or something like that?
