Pokemon Go!

I see someone on Reddit reckons Dragonites and Clefairys spawn in the same areas a lot, so gonna see whats what this weekend probably

And screwed again with movesets
Got a 580cp Bellsprout with high IV's, and the best grass moves. Evolved it, and I get the poison moves

It's ok. Poison makes good defender.

But vine whip solar beam just eats though water types hey....

What makes it a good defender?

I am at least happy that my 2 eggs hatched high IV pokemon, now to get the krabby CP up, and I think I will be happy with that

A good defender is a difficult question. I posted a pic of the tier list yesterday this includes moves for defenders

And don't bother with the crabby. Kingler only has bug, ground and steel moves. No stab bonus.
Not good at defending

It's just an evolution

Define elevated?

The Witwatersrand is quite high above sea-level :p

Lmao no not quite. My street for example, goes up a slope, and I am at the top of the slope. Most of the suburb is below me.
Also, the pub and garage up the road has a lot of XM, so I will go there this weekend too, might as well carry on going up the road to catch some Venonat which are all over the show EXCEPT at my place. Now that I think about it, my area has a lot of grass and bug pokemon, where as surrounding areas have alot of rock and ground. The weird thing, I very rarely have grass or bug at my house, but I have rock and ground often :/

I'm in this dilemma. I hatched a bulbasaw with decent iv's.
Evolved it into an ivysaw and it has solar beam.
Should I risk evolving again or just wait for another bulbasaw to take all the way to venusaw.
The bulbasaw's in the wild tend to have crap iv's even the ivysaw I caught was not good so I transferred it.

Well a Venusaur with any move set beats any Ivysaur...

Was gifted this courtesy of my egg.

Right so, Dragonite spawn is definately in my area, someone else went and found one yesterday. Will update with closer co-ordinates

so I am really hoping the elevated area + near water + lots of clafables means dratini spawn.

moved into the new place yesterday. there is a gym right in front of the complex.
currently it is a level 9 team Mystic gym. and that sucks just a little bit. because there is only room for one more person and there are 2 of us in the house that want to join it.

plus side we are on a hill, close to a small spruit, and there are lots of clavable spawning near us. I only had about 10 min to play pokemon yesterday, but it looked good.

What else did you find in your new place?

I was on for all of 10 mins.
saw a Rhydon but it despawned.
and a clafarie I caught that.
and the gym.
but this was at 01:30 after moving the entire day. I passed out, and have not logged in again yet.

Just FYI,
So far I havent seen a Dragonair or Dratini at my place, only Dragonite.
Someone else has said they have seen similar and no Dratini or dragonair either.
The other 3 pokemon that seem to be common with the Dragonite spawns (besides Clefairy) are Magmar, Jigglypuff and Aerodactyl

I get Clafairy, Magmar, Jigglypuff and Aerodactly at work. never even seen any water pokemon though.

but I will keep a look out. as soon as we have electricity and wifi sorted at the new place we will be able to do a better analasys.

I seem to have encountered a Wartortle spawn close to my home - I've identified three spots where I can generally encounter Pokemon and whilst hitting them this evening just driving around the block encountered two of them where I've never even sighted them before.
