Pokemon Go!

I've been playing for weeks now and I've not seen one ghost type Pokemon, not even in a gym.

I have to admit finding ghost type pokemon has been the most difficult. Everything else kinda makes sense but ghost is just random

I've slowly started not to care about IVs, I obviously want to be the very best like no one ever was, but it's only ever really going to matter if PVP ever gets added.

For people that always hear IVs mentioned and don't know what they are this is basically it:

If you have two Pokemon of the same level, lets say Vaporeon, one with 100% IVs and the other with 0% IVs, IVs range anywhere from 0-15.

Vaporeon's base stats are:

Attack: 186
Defence: 168
Stamina: 260

That will be the stats of the 0% IV Vaporeon and the 100% IV's stats will be:

Attack: 201
Defence: 183
Stamina: 275

The hitmon chan thing. I have a 600 cp chan. Its supposed to beat up snorlax. I have a 800 cp snorlax.

No matter how many times I tried the battle just takes too long and you kiss time a dodge and loose

I have caught two. One in Irene Estate by the memorial and one in goodies for gardens in Kempton Park

Caught a Snorlax 10 minutes ago - Pinelands area :)

I have the worst luck when it comes to hatching eggs so I'm chuffed!

Where in pinelands?

Edit: Nevermind would probably have despawned and I'm super low on balls!

ive seen snorlax pop up in the greenside area near the golf course towards the parktown schools, however, i have not been able to actually find them though to enable me to catch them.

Thanks, apparently there are Jynx in that area as well. I will definately need to make a trip there.
Seeing as you are in Bromhof, there are Dragonites in the boomed area of Sundowner.

I've read theories about Hitmonchan being a glass cannon.

can you please explain?
I have 3 Hitmonchan.

834,67,rock smash, ice punch
608, 53,bullet punch, brick break
209, 36, rock smash brick break

which one should be effective vs snorlex/lapras?
