I'm level 13 and I haven't caught anything higher than 350...

I caught a 610CP Pinsir @ level 9 or so.

Got it first time with a normal Pokeball.

I've come to suspect that catching pokemon is purely random.

Something wrong there, I have caught several higher then 350 and im only level 11...

Well, out of the 2 rarest pokemon I have, my pinsir capture rate is 75% and magmar 25%

Very strange. My highest CP is a Pidgeot at 680. Evolved it, and powered it up a little. If I think back, I did catch a Pinser at 500+-. But still, most are all between 250-350 or so.

At lvl14 I still mostly get 250 - 350s. Very rarely do I get anything above that. :(
I had to evolve my 2 strongest 'mons
 
I've decided to hold off on evolving or powering up anything else for now. Collecting all the stardust and candies I can get - will stack up some evolves for when I get a lucky egg again.

Doing the same at the moment - got about 3 that I can evolve now.

meh i did that had about 25 evolves got a level and a half

Only hassle I've got now is the nearby taxi rank is where the bulk of the buggers spawn :(

ok I need the help of the forum again.

I have approached a cat rescue organisation based in pretoria called Cats R us.

they have been forced out of the shelter they are in now (its for a valid reason and they have had 3 months to find a new place)
they have not managed to raise the money to get a new place.

I suggested they hold a lure event and charge entry to raise some money and maybe get some people to adopt a cat or two.

so I need a location, where in PTA is there a decent amount of pokestops, in a place where they can controll the entry points that they can get for as little money as possible to hold this findraiser?

also who would be interested in going?

Hey Baxteen download pogo maps on Andriod https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pogo.rocks.pogomaps&hl=en, it shows you where every gym/pokestop is and then you can chose your own location. Then you can phone the businesses around the area you have chosen and see if they would be interested in helping.

Just an idea
