Pokemon Go!

Hit level 20 last night, pokemon started going from high 400's to 600's which is great.

You also get
-2 lures
-2 lucky eggs
-2 incense
-20 ultra balls
-2 incubators
-I think 15 raspberries
-I think 20 hyper potions

best level up in the game so far for me
 
Saw a table yesterday which shows how CP increases with character level...can't remember where it was now.
 
I just did some math.

I have 33 pokemon I can evolve.
this does not include the Nodoran male and femal I can take all the way to the final evolution because I want a higher level starting one.
it does not include the Abra that I can evolve because its too low a level.

the sad thing is, this is not enough XP even wiht the new pokemon I gain to push me from level 22 to level 23 in one go.

so I will just keep grinding my way to level 22 manually and hopefully when I hit it I will have enough evolutions to get to level 23 in one go.

guys the grind becomes real when you get to the higher levels and work a full time job.

Yeah, you are basically looking at about 100 evolutions for 22 to 23 if you use an egg.

and 100 evolutions at 30 seconds each is more than half an hour, so it two eggs with 10 mins waitsted.

60 evolutions is the max, and I would never risk 60 in one egg. I would max try and do 55. you never know when something else shows up, or the app crashes with all the animations.
 
I feel like I got hyper potions way too early. They unlocked at level 15, but my highest HP Pokémon is only 65HP. Now I have these hyper potions filling spots in my inventory cause I don't want to waste them.
 
Have 0 pokeballs left, not willing to pay, in pause till next stop. Maybe this weekend

Happens to me at work quite often.

Sitting on 3 at the moment - will spend some time at my local shops and stock up this evening.
 
I just started playing this and caught a pikachu as my first, I was drive while the app was open and the 3 starter pokemon was there and the after a few times going out of that circle a pikachu appeared and I caught it when I eventually stopped at work.
 
Have the same problem, I can only really play on weekends. Don't feel like using Great Balls on Weedles, Caterpies and Pidgeys :p
 
What is the animation for a pokemon that runs away? I was catching a clefable and the next moment the pokeball made a smoke ball thing animation and I lost the pokemon
