Lost track of thread. Update: evolved 66 pokemon last night. Went from 19-21 in half an hour with a lucky egg. Went to bright water commons today, loads of magikarp, psyduck and slowpokes. Definitely worth it to spend a day or 2 there as they have plugs for chargers also

You should. But just a little tip, I have seen tons of people missing this. The key to catching the cool pokemon at Brightwater commons is to actually walk around, crossing bridges specifically. Dont just sit at the stage area and collect pokeballs, walk to the bridges and back in between

I have caught literally no pokemon since I got the new update.

I see all these awesome pokemon sighted in the grass but no grass patches ever appear as I walk around for me to actually go in that direction and catch them.

My tablet with the updated version can't connect.It said try logging in with a different acount. And after 5 tries said the servers were overloaded which I haven't seen in weeks. My phone with the old version connects fine.

I have been threatening to go there for weeks but we never get around to it.
pity this weekend is full up on wedding things or I would have totally gone.
its going to be a tough few weekends for me and pokemon go.
wedding things this weekend, plans for all of next weekend,
moving the weekend after,
settling in the weekend after that.


currently I am level 25, (still) I have 29 evolves ready to rock, but I am waiting for some more pidgeys (somehow became more rare after the update)
loving the new update though, the nearby list actually works (and reddit claims the pokemon on the nearby list are within 200m of you)

I also have 9 5KM eggs, all started while I was sitting still. the plan is when the eggs are ready to hatch, drop a lucky egg, hatch all the eggs,, then do all the evolutions. that should get me the 30K XP I need for level 26, and a good deal into level 26 after.

Ive found it easier to hit great, nice throws and if you go left right and throw you always hit a curve ball with a perfectly straight throw. Excellent throws have been a bit more tough for me.

I haven't found it harder to connect but this is what my house looks like every 15-20 mins so had a lot of practice

I am a massive ghost pokemon fan. I have said multiple times my goal is to have 10 gyms, all with a Gengar on top of it.
I would gladly trade my Growlithe spawn for a Ghastly spawn.

I would gladly trade my Growlithe spawn for a Ghastly spawn.

Not always gastly he comes maybe twice a day if I'm lucky but it seems every hour I get 2 rare spawns and the rest of the time its Zubats. From the rare spawns I have got Beedrill, gastly, magmar, wigglytuff, gravler, tangela, vulpix and a ryhorn so its a mixed spawn point you never know what you gonna get.

its not a nest, but its a swarm spot., basically you know there are a few other people around that either also play the game as much as you do, or played a lot of ingress.
the spawns are based on XM generators in ingress, and that is based on cell activity in ingress in that area, the more players, the more XM, the more XM, the more spawns.

its either that, or is is simply a swarm spot generated randomly.

I would give my address but don't really want 10 cars parked at the end of my Cul de Sac pissing off my neighbors.

that is what a PM is for!

and with ingress, those dots coming from the business is EXACTLY what is causing the spawns. they generate XM, the XM is basically what causes the spawns in pogo.

so basically, we should all check ingress maps, corilate wiht google maps to find a spot wiht multiple businesses on google maps, and see how much XM they generate in ingress to find good catching locactions.
