Pokemon Go!

This app is a battery killer, and that's with the so-called battery saver option ticked. Lost 10% in 30 minutes on my Z3 Compact, a phone that ordinarily lasts 1.5 days between charges with moderate usage...

Pretty sure it is the GPS that does that.

Using Driving Directions on Google Maps does the same.

You need to plug it into the car or use an external battery.

The battery saver only works when you run the app in the background with the screen off. You should still get a buzz when there is Pokemon about.

So I just walked around the block outside my office, apart from all the regulars:

Paras
Koffing
Psyduck
Dratini
Slowpoke
Meowth
Clefairy

I guess Pokéstops availability depends on whether or not the spot was active in Ingress? Was it popular in SA? It's hard to go more than a block in London without finding one. Or may be because it's not actually available in SA.

Oh man, train that Dratini up and evolve it into a Dragonair => Dragonite. Dragonite is one of my favourite/most used pokemon in the games. I've done solo Dragonite playthroughs on almost all the GBA/DS games. It can learn almost any TM. So I just teach it:

- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Surf

This gives it a supereffective attack against almost any other type.

Same.

Love Dragonite.

I must say that tracking seems really stuffed at this stage.

I specifically look for critters I haven't found yet and they move around in the tracking block but never pop up.

While that goes on tons of other critters pop up to be captured but aren't shown in the tracker

And all "3 steps" away?
