Pokemon Go!

I decided to just go for it and see what happens and evolved Eevee and got a CP 1044 Vaporeon with 97.8% IV, just need to power him up a lot but he is much stronger than the CP 1256 Vaporeon with 46.7% IV I already have so I'm really happy.

Good catching spots in Pretoria? Besides the zoo, preferably PTA East... Got the wrong end of the stick and been trying in the botanical gardens and dog parks, seems we need to try in built up areas rather. Any suggestions?

Also a good place in PTA to get water pokemon?

You can't add in a hard ban feature that has even the slightest chance of banning a legit user. GPS freaks out a lot...

It's simple, Niantic need to add in their own spoofing and joystick, you want to sit in your undies instead of walking around, fine ok you can pokestop and catch and whatever, you just can't battle gyms. Then region lock the gyms.

*poof* there goes 90% of the spoofing apps audience, therefore less development of the app because of lower returns and easier to outwit them.

The really hardcore cheaters you'll never beat though.

This is a really nice idea! However I know of a lot of pokemon fanboys who will petition this because if you just want to sit around and use a joystick to walk around then they will tell you that you should play the nintendo ds/3ds versions of the game.

While I really enjoy Pokemon Go, I feel the devs missed out on a few critical opportunites. For example.

Instead of just throwing pokeballs at pokemon to catch them, you have to battle them first to get there health down. The lower the health, the higher the chance to catch it.

At level 12, when you unlock greatballs, you shouldnt be able to get the standard pokeballs. You should only get greatballs from Pokestops and the shop.

I also don't understand why they wont let you buy greatballs and ultraballs. I found a dragonite at home and only had 1 greatball, would have been a catch if I had access to purchase greatballs

I get the feeling that the game was rushed out before being finished completely...

I suppose not being able to buy great / ultra balls from the shop forces people to get out and about and find stops to plunder for items...

This GPS spoofing thing is getting really annoying.
Solod a gym that and before I could get a pokemon inside there were 3 from another team in it. But there was no one around, no parked cars, no people. Im assuming they are watching the gyms and just using spoofing to place pokemon in when it gets neutralised.

714CP. Nothing special but it would have been nice to have caught it.

Finding a decent Magikarp to evolve is difficult. I have 600 odd Magikarp candies and one on 139CP but the IV is 74% :(

Have you tried sitting at Seapoint, I think there was an event there sometime not so long ago?

I actually really like this sugjestion. I truely do.
but it HAS to be a premium app. so Niantic can make money off spoofers.

its basically the Dutch approach to drugs, legalize the lot and let Darwinism sort out the problem, while the government makes money via tax on drugs. (I know this is taking it a lot further than what is actually going on in the Netherlands with regard to legal drugs, its a hyperbole)

Another nice feature could be to add rewards for getting medals, like pokemon eggs or great balls or something.

Where on earth do one find so many magikarps? I see its like 400 candies to evolve, but in the last two weeks I have only spotted 3 and caught 2. Dafuq?

I know linwood bridge is a pretty good spot. there by the tribecca and rapsodys. loads of pokestops and a good place to farm pokestops.

catching water type, just go to Rietflei dam. allegedly it has a dratini spawn. but I have not been there to confirm.

I am yet to find a really good spot for water types though.

Where are you guys with Pokedex and lvl? I'm on 85 seen & caught on lvl 19

I just hit level 26 this morning (finally!)

113 unique encounters.
250 pokemon evolved
6534 pokeballs used
2099 pokemon captured
2519 pokemon encounterd
166 pokemon deployed in gyms
571 gym attacks won.
trained 862 times
Total prestiege raised 1059599
prestiege Drop 647500

all this info comes from a very nice little app I have been using to calculate IV's since sunday. I wanted to make sure it was good and safe before posting about it.

the app is called goStats. if you care about those stats I posted, or the IV's of the pokemon you have its a very good app.
