It doesn't look like there are region exclusive mons this time around, people have been catching everything everywhere

Can anyone confirm whether these evo items are only received on a 7 day streak? As I have hit almost 200 pokestops since the update and only received a evo item on my 7 day streak

I got one on a random Pokestop spin (during the 4th day of a streak).
