There are some areas that are dead to pokemon . best places to catch pokemon is near a pokegym or a spawn . Usually is at a church or monument :)

so I am getting ready for a real big evolution spree.
I have 11 lucky eggs.
I have 156 pokemon to evolve
 
Sucks going back to normal XP levels :(

Did anyone hatch anything interesting from 2km eggs?

I got baby pokemon aplenty - especially Togepi.

I also scored around 220k xp over the course of the event from evolutions alone - not too sure how much other XP I gained.
 
Will all the eggs that I picked up during the Easter event, but I haven't hatched yet, still be the reshuffled pokemon? Like is there still a possibility of hatching a Lapras from a 2km egg for example?

Yeah - I hatched an Evee, Squitle, Togepi out of 2km eggs this morning - eggs that I picked up yesterday.

I hatched a Misdreavus, Togepi, Lapras, Tyrogue and then some I already had (Phanpy, Grimer, Elekid, Machop)
Quite a decent event!
 
so I spent 3 lucky eggs evolving yesterday.
and I did not finish, but the event ended, so I left the rest, I mean who cares about 15 ekans wiht CP under 200 right?

not sure how much XP I gained, but I know I did not get to level 33.

Only nice ones (and new to my Pokedex) I got from my 2km eggs were Togepi, Sneasel, Remoraid and Psyduck

Was also happy to have finally evolved Pikachu into Raichu
 
so my wife and I got new phones on the weekend.
the LG G6.

we had G4's before this.

normally, going gym hunting we would take the following:
2 power banks.
2 zip lock bags.
1 seal-able container with ice and water.

the approach would be.
have phones on 100%.
Drive to first gym, usually a level 10 outside of the area where we normally fight gyms.
set up team, battle gym together.
inevitably, 1 of us would error out.
that person, puts phone in ziplock bag, drops in ice water, other person finishes the battle.
we swop. cooled down phone takes on gym, previous battler puts phone in ice.

after one gym, the phones were on 60%

we could do about 3 gyms before we would need to charge the phones up. usually this would be when we get food.
then we do another 3 gyms.


last night after work we took the new phones for a propper test drive.
we were both on 100%.

we drove around centurion.
taking down any gyms we found, and prestieging up any friendly gym that had space.

12 gyms.
2 and a half hours.
64 revives from me gone and 5 max revives. wife used 80
40 hyper potions from me, 15 max potions, and no idea how many super and regular.

we kept hitting pokestops while looking for more gyms, but I went from 1002 items, down to 756 items, caught a few Pokemon as well, and hatched a few eggs.

when we got home at 19:45 we were both on 45%
we did not charge them again btw.
phones never got hot.
we took down multiple level 10 gyms while both attacking at the same time, and neither of us errored out.
the only error we got was at one gym where we were right on the edge and I disconnected and got a 5 min ban.

I need a serious visit to the bot gardens now. I need lke 3 or 4 hours to just walk and hit pokestops.
I know I could on the G4 do an hour at the bot gardens walking loops to get items before the g4 needed ice.(litrally)
and the battery lasted a total of 2 hours there.

I want to see how long I can push the G6 hitting pokestops.

What is your Pokemon handle? (don't have to share it if you don't want to)...will look out for you if I visit any gyms. On what team are you?

Planning to visit the Botanical gardens sometime soon, as per your advice of last week. Leaving for Cape Town in 2 hrs...looking forward to catch a few new ones there. SO and her mom already there, I've already been informed about all the Pokestops close to where we will be staying haha.
 
Baxteen is next level it seems.

BTW (thread jack), does anyone play Pokémon Duel?
 
I am Baxteen here, on telegram, on twitter, and in pokemon go.

and I play pokemon Duel. fantastic game. I want to start a thread for it but I doubt there is an active user base on here due to the game not being as hyped, and not on the play store here yet...

@SykomantiS what rank are you? and what team are you running?
 
In which game? Duel? I'm hovering at around 100 or so points before I hit league promotion to the top league. My main deck (not used for gym cups, those I change accordingly) includes Charmeleon (with evolution), Mew, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno and one last little guy whose name I keep forgetting. Definitely not one of the original 151. I want to say Metagross or some such but I'll have to confirm. I go by Syko as they didn't accept my full nickname at the time (can't remember if it was a character limit issue or what).

I am sitting in master league for the second month in a row in Duel now.
my main team changed today, finally got to the 25th win for my second gyrados
team is Moltres (if I had a zapdos it would be in this place)
2 Magicarp ->gyrados
Mew
Rhyperion
Torterra

my main tactic recently has been.
prevent them from taking more than one entry point (having torterra on the other)
slowly push forward with Rhyperion. he simply eats any fliers, and his blue is amazing for forcing surround kills people dont see coming.
 
Yeah I've been eyeing Rhyperior myself. Only recently acquired one. But I find soar to be very useful at times it's difficult to let go of the legendary birds. Sadly I don't have a Gyrados yet. No way Charizard or Mew are getting removed, I like them too much :-P

I think maybe we should start a thread... You never know the outcome...

I've been struggling with the grass cup, to be honest.
