I got the notification on twitter last night.
I was busy doing the dishes. pulled off the gloves, and walked out to the gym in front of the complex and added for me and the wife.
saw 2 of the otehr gyms I can see from my house get peed on while the one in the nature reserve stayed grey.

this morning the 2 yellow gyms were still yellow, but the nature reserve was red. valour have a spineless spoofer in the moreletta park area.

this morning on the drive to work, we fed a berry to the gym at home, took down one of the yellow gyms, added to another blue gym.
I got a drive by add on the way to work, and I took the gym at work down from a yellow player already.

and I spun all the stops at the gyms.
spinning gyms is a massive quality of life improvement IMHO.
the battle system is also very good, I like the motivation thing. its cute.

considering doing a few lucky egg evolution pushes, I have about 300 pokemon I can evolve, maybe that will put me to level 35 so I can join raids...

It's confirmed that you can max have 20 pokémon in a gym at one given time.
You get coins when your pokémon returns to you after having it's motivation drop to 0. The rumors for now is about 1 coin per 1 hour. Lag/issues might cause you to not see your coins before restarting your game.
