Pokemon Go!

Yeah the game's dead here. Think it's the same in Dbn.

Which gym? If it's on my weekend shopping route I will knock it out for you :o

thanks :) its at the Burry Stander Memorial - its basically behind cascades shopping centre at the entrance to the mountain bike trails.

Will pass by this weekend and give him the boot if he's still in :D

no shinies for me yet.

but at leasat I have a Raikou. did a raid at my office this morning. good start to the day.

Honestly i have never seem a company actively attempting to destroy their own game. Bad decision after Bad decision, i cannot understand why they would switch up raids only to give us trash which most if not all of us have ample off and even if that was not the case, with all of the past events, most would have caught/gained at least one off all of the new raid bosses. But i think the worst part of it all is that very few of these new raid bosses are actually useful in the game and they are mostly old gen 1's.
It is a very sad situation, i'm even seeing "hardcore" players quiting as they see no point. I personally do not see the point of soloing a scyther for example (Sorry Baxteen not aimed at your post), as there is no value really for it in the current meta. Machamp/Alakazam/Gengar were all good and useful but now....we have what scyther/porygon/omastar???????

I wouldn't mind a Porygon l, I still need lots of candies to evolve mine, and it's iv's really aren't that great to begin with anyway, where raid bosses usually have good or great iv's. Also wouldn't mind a stronger Omastar. But that's just me.

Im 100% with you, as are loads of other people. The game is extremely stale at the moment, literally the only reason I was playing during the Halloween event was the Shinies. With the event now over, I don't feel the need to actually play the game (apart from the unown in Rivonia we rushed to and caught early Saturday morning.)

Other then that, we maybe do 1 raid a weekend (Why do more because EX Raids are a mess) and get the daily streaks.

Niantic need to do something, and fast. I predict this time next year, they would have halved there player base yet again.

Im seeing more and more of my twitter followers leaving the game to play Draconius GO, and people in rural areas have already left a while ago.

Given, but my point is, that once you have your good iv porygon and evolved it, then what? I have caught more than enough of everything on the new list because of the valentines/rock/fire and ice/solstice events. Are you going to continue with the current raids just to simply get a 1 in 14 000 000 chance to get that EX raid pass? At least abra was rare and machamp/gengar/tyranitar useful for other more important raids. I mean even the best raid boss golemn...i have a ton of with no reason to get more. Yes it just me probably as well. But i'm not even a "hardcore" player, i compare my catch numbers with the guys i consider as hardcore players and i caught 8K odd mons and they 24K+. How useful is this for them if even i feel like this

I agree, lots of bad decisions.

I wanted to solo a Syther for the same reason I wanted to solo an arcanine. just to say I have done it.
I will do the same with Porygon and omnistar when I see them. so that I can say I have done it.

also, Machamp, gengar and Alakazam are still around, as is Lapras, Snorlax and tyranitar.

Also, victreebel can be dueo'd, and we live in a fire biome. so the wife and I will be attempting that as training to dueo a Ttar eventually when she gets her good machamps. she has the dust and candy, but almost all her machamp have 10 attack, that is just not good enough.

I also think, much like the previous group of raid bosses were "rare" pokemon like Muk, Electrobuzz, Magmar to complete the dex, this time around it is the same.
there are people still missing those entries in their gen 1 dex, that is why they area there.

notice how all the raid bosses are things that are biome based rare?
here in PTA we never see poly, bellsprout and squirtle. even oddish is super rare. people here have walked oddish to complete gen 2 dex. my wife is one of them.

if in 2 months after Gen 3 has been out for a while the raid bosses change, and hoppip, sneasel, and other more rare less meta pokemon go into the sirculation it will be clear what the mission is.

1st of all thank you to whoever knocked me out of the gym in pmb :D much appreciated

Have you guys noticed a significant drop in potions ? i'm struggling to get potions for some reason and i sit under a pokestop at work and so far not a single potion

not at all.

I delete on average 15 potions and 7 super potions a day.
I also delete down to 50 revives.

but I suppose that has more to do with the amount of raids I do and all the revieves and hyper potions you get from that.

just checked my journal, 26 spins and counting and not a single potion :wtf:
i have about 6 to 9 pokemon to heal up

yeah i usually get so many potions i end up deleting them as well but since Saturday/Sunday i'm getting very very little :(

I also agree that they are probably using it as a way to fill the pokedexs of people, but lets face it you must have not played at all in most of the events that have occurred over the last year not to have received any of these. So i you are realistic about this, many of these events lasted in excess of two weeks, if you never considered picking up your device and filling up on these during the event....what is the chances of you going to a raid and get people to raid with you. I mean its been hard to get people to raid a snorlax or tyranitar, i highly doubt many people will do too many omastars for example. And honestly Nidoran WT#!!! is pretty much present in every biome....

not everyone played as much as we do.
Phreakboy for example....

also not all biomes are the same.
yes I am drowning in Nidoran, and sandshrew, but some people may be drowning in bellsprout and polywhirl.

remember people complaining about drowsy, when here it was an unseen pokemon for some of us?

or with gen 2 people drowning in piloswine, and others in houndour, but the two people never see the other one?

that is why these are level 2 and 3 raids, get these people to ask for help, join a group, complete the dex, and most importantly enjoy the game.

I have a few friends in PTA who are under level 20, who do not have a complete gen 1 dex because they are missing Victreebel, and no gen 2 complete becuase they are missing syther candies, and poly candies even though they have the items. seadra is another one that can be added to that list.
