I'm sure there is a group or two, somewhere in the thread (cannot remember where) there was a post with a bunch of whatsapp groups, if you are willing to dig back, you should find something there

distance for walking your buddy has halved but egg distance is still the same.

those of you chasing mew and need to evolve a magikarp, now is your chance to get candies! make it your buddy and you only need to walk 500m to get candy. if you catch one in the wild its 6 candies and 12 with a pineapp berry

sadly the additional stardust was only for a little while. that is back to normal now.
but the event is:
6 hour lures.
double candy for catches, hatches, evolves and tranfers.
half buddy walking distance
and the best value on raid passes ever.

That sucks, I was really enjoying the 500 stardust for a second stage evolution without starpiece or weather boost

you know i usually can hit a few great or excellent throws no problem and sometimes do quite a few in a row without even trying... but now with it being a task and you being conscious of it, my word its difficult.

Lol, ya, kind of true that. But i always thought i'm terrible at excellent throws, discovered i'm not as bad as i thought....but still be bad enough to be stuck on this "three in a row" quest for almost 2 weeks

Field research? Why not just delete it?

Is that before or after you have to evolve a magikarp? Because that's just not nice

After the carp evolution. Next task is to catch 50 pokemon with a berry and gold kanto badge. Easy enough. And then one excellent curveball throw... Nfi if I will get through this one. After that it's just the mew catch.

Don't want to delete it, the reward is a Larvitar with a guaranteed iv of between 10/10/10 to 15/15/15 which are better odds than in the wild

Not worried about the rest, caught 20 mons in 30min on the one da7 for the 20 task. Have 1200 candy ready for carp...and 3 in a row excellent throws in row has shown me that if i try i can get about 30+ excellents in day...but never 3 in a row though :'(

Makes sense. Is it 3 excellent throws in a row or three excellent curved throws in a row?
Either way still a tough challenge though.
